While this cafe could do with a lick of paint, it serves the most comforting full English breakfast by the sea. The portion sizes are very generous and the produce seems very fresh and was well cooked. They also allowed us to change some items on the breakfast instead of simply not including them which was a lovely touch. The staff are kind and very welcoming especially to our dog! Who had his own mini breakfast. Overall it was a comforting and very lovely experience.- Meal type

We stopped in here as we was quite cold and the staff was very polite. My mom had a hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows, My Nan had a pot of tea which I must say she loved as the pot was very cute. I’ve recently had surgery so asked for a glass of milk which they was happy to do. It’s a lovely little cafe 🥰

This is a super cafe in a good location. Eating indoors feels safe. The service is friendly and efficient. It's excellent value. My cheese scone wasn't the best I've ever had, but it was still a great package. They make a super pot of tea!
What an absolute gem of a place, amazing staff and food. So glad we stumbled across it. Incredibly welcoming and helpful staff, went out of their way to accommodate gluten free daughter. Brilliant with dogs. Highly recommended.

Our 8 month old pup was warmly welcomed aslo and happily settled under the table while we ate.

It's small but cosy.
The food is cooked to order and the people who run it are so friendly.

A mini breakfast and slice of toast is great for small appetites.
Their chocolate cake was a favourite of another person on another table, a regular.
A man came in on his mobility scooter so there is room for one scooter or pushchair or wheelchair.
There is a small toilet upstairs.
My friend and I really enjoy going there and is now becoming a regular thing.- Service

Best breakfast in Ilfracombe, I highly recommend trying the ‘Capstone’. Wonderful atmosphere, very friendly staff, perfect start to any day.

Beautiful child friendly cafe right next to the harbour. Staff are always happy and cheerful. Scrumptious freshly cooked food and really reasonably priced..and they make fish fingers baps mmmmmmmmmmmmmm
